The Foundation Stockyard Hill Wind Farm Women's Engineering Scholarship is open to domestic students who identify as a woman/female and are commencing their studies at the Mt Helen campus in either the Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) (Honours), Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Information Engineering) (Honours) or the Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) (Honours) course. The scholarship is valued at $6,000, with an additional $1,000 available to support a work-related or additional study experience, such as a visit, flight, or tour.
Eligibility
- Domestic student
- New/commencing student in 2025
- Identifies as being woman/female
- Enrolled in one of the following courses:
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) (Honours)
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Information Engineering)
- Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) (Honours)
- Studying at the Mt Helen Campus in Ballarat
- Studying full-time minimum of 45 credit points per semester
- For a student who had to move away from their regional area and cannot live at home while studying
- Must have attended a regional State High School
Scholarship Amount
1 Scholarship Available
The recipient will receive $6,000 in two instalments: $3,000 after the first census date and $3,000 after the second census date.
The scholarship is valued at $6,000 with an additional $1,000 available to support a work-related or additional study experience, such as a visit, flight, or tour.
Conditions
- Active and enrolled for the full year post census date.
- Students who defer their offer or take a leave of absence will forfeit their award.
- Must be studying full time.
- Awardees are required to attend the Foundation event at the scholarship-specified campus.
- Students are to maintain current contact details. If you cannot be contacted by mail, email or telephone in relation to this scholarship, your scholarship may be terminated.
- Must achieve a minimum credit average for each semester to maintain the scholarship

Please note, that the reference letters must not be older than 12 months from submission date. Reference letters that do not meet the requirements will be deemed as invalid.
