The Iberdrola Australia Scholarships are open to students undertaking undergraduate or postgraduate studies in arts (social sciences), business, cybersecurity, engineering or data science at the Gippsland Campus. Preference will be given to students who reside in the Gippsland region, identify as woman/female or Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.

- Domestic or international student
- New/commencing or continuing student in 2025
- Enrolled in one of the following courses:
- Bachelor of Arts (Social Sciences) (Honours)
- Bachelor of Business (Economics and Finance)
- Bachelor of Business (Management, Economics and Finance)
- Bachelor of Business (Marketing, Economics and Finance)
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) (Honours)
- Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) (Honours)
- Bachelor of Environmental and Conservation Science
- Bachelor of Information Technology (AI and Data Science)
- Bachelor of Information Technology (Professional Practice)
- Bachelor of Science (Environmental restoration)
- Graduate Certificate in Community Energy and Micro-Grid
- Graduate Diploma of Data Science
- Master of Applied Cybersecurity
- Master of Data Science
- Master of Engineering Technology (Renewable Energy and Electrical Power Systems)
- Studying at the Gippsland Campus
- Preference will be given to students:
- From geographic regions within the Gippsland region (especially for those who come from the areas where the renewable assets developed and owned by the Organisation are located)
- Preference for applicants who identify as woman/female
- Preference for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants
Scholarship Amount
8 Scholarships Available
Recipients will receive $6,250 in two instalments: $3,125 after the first census date and $3,125 after the second census date.
Conditions
- Active and enrolled for the full year post census date.
- Students who defer their offer or take a leave of absence will forfeit their award.
- Can be full-time or part-time.
- Must not be in their final semester of studying when applying.
- Awardees are required to attend the Foundation event at the scholarship-specified campus.
- Students are to maintain current contact details. If you cannot be contacted by mail, email or telephone in relation to this scholarship, your scholarship may be terminated.

Reference letters can be written by supervisors, co-workers, clients, teachers, or professors.
Please note, that the reference letters must not be older than 12 months from submission date. Reference letters that do not meet the requirements will be deemed as invalid.
