The Foundation East Gippsland Water Scholarship is open to undergraduate students in Engineering (preferable), with a focus on civil, chemical, mechanical, and environmental engineering. Undergraduate students will also be considered from a background in accounting, human resources, information technology, studying at the Gippsland Campus in their first, second, third or fourth year of their degree.
Eligibility
- Domestic student
- New/commencing or continuing student in 2024
- Studying at the Gippsland Campus
- Preference is given to students enrolled an undergraduate engineering degree, with a focus on civil, chemical, mechanical and environmental engineering
- Preference will be given to students who reside in the East Gippsland region, but is open to other students who will commit to being directly involved with East Gippsland Water
Scholarship Amount
2 Scholarships Available
Each recipient will receive $10,000 in two instalments: $5,000 after the first census date and $5,000 after the second census date.
Conditions
- Active and enrolled for the full year post census date.
- Students who defer their offer or take a leave of absence will forfeit their award.
- Can be full-time or part-time.
- Must not be in their final semester of studying when applying.
- Awardees are required to attend the Foundation event at the scholarship-specified campus.
- Students are to maintain current contact details. If you cannot be contacted by mail, email or telephone in relation to this scholarship, your scholarship may be terminated.

- and be able to speak about your situation without needing you to explain it to them.
Reference letters can be written by supervisors, co-workers, clients, teachers, or professors.
