The Deadly TAFE Education Grant aims to assist TAFE Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. This grant is to provide support for TAFE students to increase enrolments, retention, and completion.

Eligibility

• Domestic student 
• Be an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person 
• Provide either a Confirmation of Aboriginality or a statutory declaration
• Enrolled in a TAFE (Vocational Education and Training) course in 2024

Grant Amount

Each recipient will receive a single payment of $1000.00

Application process

Complete an application form and upload relevant evidence requirements

Conditions

• Active and enrolled for the full year post census date
• Students who defer their offer or take a leave of absence will forfeit their award
• The grant is available between January 2024 and December 2024 or until funding is expended.
