The Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal is the only national foundation specifically focused on ensuring the social and economic strength of Australia's remote, rural and regional communities. Eligibility
- Domestic or international student
- New/commencing or continuing student in 2026
- Enrolled in a Bachelor of Physiotherapy
- Studying at the Gippsland Campus (including Flexible or Blended Delivery)
- Must be from an underrepresented or marginalised background, including but not limited to:
- Students from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds
- Indigenous students
- Students identifying as LGBTQ+
- Other students facing barriers to clinical placement participation
- Must be a current physiotherapy student enrolled in a recognised course at the university
- Must be eligible to participate in clinical placements as part of their degree requirements (with preference for students in FVPCC or other telehealth community placements).
Bursary Amount
50 Bursaries Available
The recipient will receive a single payment of $1,000 after the census date.
Conditions
- Active and enrolled for the full year post census date.
- Students who defer their offer or take a leave of absence will forfeit their award.
- Can be full-time or part-time.
- Must not be in their final semester of studying when applying.
- Students are to maintain current contact details. If you cannot be contacted by mail, email or telephone in relation to this bursary, your bursary may be terminated.
